Ember
Y’all, Ember is lively! It certainly holds it’s element well and brings a well rounded presence standing next to Zephyr, and River. I hope you enjoy the words I’ve shared below, as I feel they really bring the experience of the oils to life. This spice-y oil is very exciting and I can not wait for you to try it!
As a body based product, Ember is carried in sesame and vitamin e oil which gives this blend a softening feel with its emollient nature. Accompanying the oil is an infusion of ginger root and oil, black pepper, stinging nettle leaf, and smoked black tea. This energetic combination gives Ember a warming sensation with a camp fire smell. When I use this oil I think of cool weather gatherings around a flame, all bundled up and soaking up as much warmth as possible.
Note: this is certainly an oil for the winter, which as I write, is coming.
Why am I writing about a winter oil in the late summer days, you might ask? Because, I answer, Ember was created during leo season, the hottest of the hot round these parts. Each oil is steeped for weeks during its familiar element, and for Ember this means the fire-y heat of summer. Unlike all of the other oils, I did not grow or gather the plants that make this blend (hopefully next year!). Once 'cooked’ in all the summery goodness, Ember was open on a Sun-day, of course.
This body oil is warming in a subtle and comforting way. The contents of Ember are intended to circulate and open the barrier of our earth body to the warmth of the sun. When the coldness sets in, deep into your bones, call Ember in. The spirit of this oil is that of a flickering flame dancing on scorched earth. An approachable fire, no longer roaring.
When you spend time with Ember, it can be as easy as recalling what warms your heart. Ember is a generous Leo, offering a cozy embrace, and providing a glow to lift your spirit in their presence. As they shine their bright light on you, they ask you to remember your own. Call on Ember when it’s been too long since you’ve had a big warm hug. Remember the heat of the sun that once held you, and know it will return again.
Perhaps, if you and a loved one are looking for ways to connect, invite Ember to accompany the sweet art of partner massage.
However you work with Ember, I do hope you are taking care out there.
