My name is Rachel.

I help heart-centered people reconnect with their bodies after traumatic experiences and recover their nervous systems so they can reclaim a sense of ease moving forward.

Interconnected.

I have experienced countless moments and environments that sought to claim my agency.

In addition to being socialized as a woman in this world, I was taught from a young age to abandon my-self and ignore my feelings which created a many layered sense of disconnection from my body, my home.

On top of this separation, I’ve also lived through traumatic events that have changed my how I move, feel, and experience life, which make connection and ease incredibly challenging to access.

These compounding events affected my daily functioning, and ability to confidently connect with others. I felt broken, and dependent on health care professionals to tell me how I was feeling, what I was experiencing, and how to heal.

It wasn’t until I worked with a practitioner who centered my intuition with a somatic approach that I finally felt seen, fully supported and incredibly empowered. I began to reconnect with all parts of my-self in an interconnected way.

This is what I want to share with you.

My aim here is to guide you in the process of reconnecting with your body, tend to lingering wounds unseen, and ultimately support the development of a deeper sense of agency without leaving any part of your experience behind.

My hopes are that you find the changes needed to engage with the world in meaningful and heart centered ways.

    Massage Therapy

    Recover and find ease with personalized massage therapy sessions created to meet your specific needs for relaxation. The structure of these sessions are collaborative, but ultimately a container that invites you to rest deeply while receiving intuitive care.

Benefits of Body Based Care

  • Traumatic events affect your body’s structure, sensation, feelings, and nervous system.

    With somatic practices, you are able to tend to the whole, with the aim of reconnection to self, community, and earth.

  • Manual therapy, even self massage techniques, has been shown to be a fantastic source of holistic pain management to support existing therapies.

  • When you tend to your self with a body based approach you are prioritizing the well-being of your physical form, internal systems, and expression of life through vital movement.

The name Earth Body is a recognition of our physical form that is inextricably linked to the land.

Through my work, I aim to weave in reminders of this beautiful connection.

Reminders that we are not separate from the trees, clay, rivers, and seas.

We share qualities with the skies, airways, and space in between

Even fire is our kin, as we carry its heat within our bodies.
